Who is responsible for reviewing and approving the duty schedule?

The Officer in Charge (OIC) is ultimately responsible for reviewing and approving the duty schedule within the unit. This position carries the authority to make operational decisions that align with the policies and goals of the organization. The OIC ensures that the duty schedule is not only fair and equitable but also meets the operational needs of the team. Their role includes taking into consideration the personnel available, workload requirements, and regulatory guidelines, which all factor into creating an effective duty roster.
